Withholdings on prizes

From the Lotteries website you can download the Withholding Certificate for prizes of over €20,000 from the Sociedad Estatal Loterías y Apuestas del Estado (State Lotteries).

All that is required is that you fill-in the following sections:

• Select a type of document: Tax ID/Foreigner ID/Tax Code or passport number, as applicable
• Enter all the digits on the document including zeros on the left, if any
• Indicate the amount of the prize including the two decimals corresponding to cents, even if they are zeros
• Finally, enter the text displayed in the image on the right.

Click on “Submit” and a window will appear with the prize/s corresponding to the data provided. Click on the certificate and download your document in PDF format.
